New Skills

Nathan and I spent some time outside yesterday enjoying the finally awesome weather.  He was getting frustrated not being able to swing on the swing set properly.  It was sorta funny to watch him flail and kick away all the while not going anywhere.  So, instead of me pushing him, I spent about 2 minutes showing him what to do and he caught on quick. He had a blast and was pretty proud he could do it by...

The Face of a 3 Year Old Boy

Not long ago, Nathan and I headed outside to play ball and ride bikes.  Well, of course he crashed and bruised his forehead and scrapped his nose.  He cried some but then said he was OK.  We played some more and then went in for lunch.  He had some grape soda, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and cantaloupe.  So, in the course of about an hour, he went from perfectly clean to the picture below.  Be sure to click it for a larger...

Soccer Practice

I think Nathan has as much fun as Kayla at soccer practice. He was perfectly happy playing by himself on the next field while Kayla’s team practiced. He kicked and threw his soccer ball all over the place and sat on it to watch some kids skateboarding and roller blading (he loves that stuff). I was able to get a few really good shots of Nathan while he was off in his own little...

After the Rain

One of the kiddos favorite things to do is go outside and play in the puddles after a rain storm. Even if you tell them 100 times “OK, but no getting soaked!”, they will invariably end up...
