I’m a little late in getting around to shooting  Nathans preschool graduation photos but we finally got it done today. The all-star baseball season has already come and gone. Nathan was the youngest player on a team. There was one other 5 year old, a bunch of 6 year olds and a few that were 7. After playing first base during the regular season, he ended up playing second base for all-stars. He learned a lot and really did a great job. The team lost their first game after a sloppy final inning but they won their next 2 to finish the tournament...

So as I’ve mentioned in the past, Nathan is a baseball fanatic. He walks around almost all day every day in baseball pants tucked into his socks (like his favorite player Hunter Pence) and a jersey. Every morning he wants to know who won all of the previous days games so he likes me to pull up the scoreboard on espn.com and although he can’t read for squat, he can tell me who played in each game and who won just based on the...

Nathan has officially finished pre-school and all of the classes closed the year with “Splash Day.” I can’t believe he’ll be starting kindergarten soon. He made some huge strides this year. Nathan really enjoys the music at church and as the photo below shows, he pays more attention than we realize.  A couple of the guitar players in our church band (Randy and Micky) wear headphones and sometimes use a capo (I just had to look that up – it’s the clamp thingy that lets you easily change the pitch of the guitar). We’re through 3 games of the tee ball season and the kids are having a blast. We end our practices with “Catch the Coach” where they all chase me and dog pile once they catch me.
