Pool Party

We went to a back-to-school pool party at the Rushing’s home this evening and had a great time… except my wife got this crazy idea that we should trade off cooking every week. We may not go back (just kidding!). We had lots of fun and laughs along with jumpy nerves cringing every time one of the little kiddos ventured near the edge of the pool.  I had empty pockets just in case I had to go for an unexpected swim. Slip and Slide

Last week I successfully put a huge hole in the water inlet on the kiddos slip and slide. So when Amy and the kids came home with a new one, Nathan wanted to try it out as soon as possible. Memorial Day

We headed up to lake Livingston for the first time this year and enjoyed a day on the water.  The weather was great and it wasn’t nearly as crowded as I had expected.  I rode one of the two jet skis almost all day which I’m reminded of every time I get up to walk. Kayla rode with Amy or I quite a bit while Nathan needed some coaxing. Once I finally got him to ride with me and he was enjoying it, I asked him why he didn’t...
