We headed up to lake Livingston for the first time this year and enjoyed a day on the water.  The weather was great and it wasn’t nearly as crowded as I had expected.  I rode one of the two jet skis almost all day which I’m reminded of every time I get up to walk. Kayla rode with Amy or I quite a bit while Nathan needed some coaxing. Once I finally got him to ride with me and he was enjoying it, I asked him why he didn’t want to ride earlier and he said “I was just tricking you.”  The kids also did a bunch of fishing with Amy’s parents. A good time was had by all.

One Response to “Memorial Day”

  1. this reminds me somewhat of my first experience on our jetski..josh and wes was on one and joe and i on the other..josh swamped joe and i…minutes later…the boys were just sitting there not paying attention and i told joe to get em!!! little did i know that he was going to turn the entire bottom of the jet ski up to swamp them…SLUNG ME OFF!!! I LOOKED LIKE A WHALE BEING AIR BORN!!!! lost my fav sunglasses in ky lake…all i could think about was KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!!! not to swallow water…not thinking about my harley davidson sunglasses..grrr…well then upon trying to get back on the darn jetski…joe said, here i will help you…and down i go again..back in the water…!!! needless to say…i DO NOT RIDE THE JET SKI ANYMORE…i stay on the pontoon boat..lol…once is enough for me…
