Nathan had some minor eye surgery last week to fix an intermittent alignment problem. Ever since he was little, we would notice that one eye would not focus on subjects properly, mostly when he was tired or sick. We tried patching the eye over the last year without any improvement. The specialist we’ve been seeing thought it was time to go ahead with the surgery and after some convincing, we agreed. Anyway, he had the surgery a week ago and he has been doing great and it appears that the alignment problem has been fixed (at least so far). Here are a couple of quick photos I took today. You can still see some red in his left eye and they still appear a little puffy but he has hardly complained at all and is well on his way to being 100%.
