First Tee Ball Game

Since I’m coaching the tee ball team, Amy is taking over the photo shooting responsibilities for the season. Nathan had an excellent first game and I think all of the kids had...

A Card for Me

I’m still laughing as I type this.  The kids were making a card for Amy’s parents this morning (for grandparents day tomorrow) and Nathan decided to make a card for Amy and Kayla. He did so and then gave it to Amy and said she could open it tomorrow. I guess he then decided that since he made one for the girls that he also wanted to make one for him and I. So he shows me this piece of paper folded in half and taped shut and...

First Day of Pre-School for Nathan

For the first time ever, both of our kids are at school. Nathan is only going to pre-school 2 days per week but it feels funny with them both being gone. Today she brought home baseball pants, socks,  a belt, and a gear bag and he had an ear-to-ear grin. I’m taking him to get cleats and a...

Little League Baseball

Nathan really likes watching baseball but its gone to a new level since the little league world series has been on the tube.  He always wants to know what team I’m rooting for and comes into my office to give me up-to-the-minute updates on the current game. It’s so funny listening to him explain what just happened.  He is always interested in all the gear they wear, especially the catcher. Anyway, Amy went outside to pitch to...

Chucking Nathan

I recently posted a photo of me throwing Nathan in the air and was asked if it was Photoshopped. It wasn’t, but the comment did give me a couple of ideas and the kids were more than happy to help out since it meant Kayla would get to shoot the photos while Nathan would get to fly.  Here are photos from back in 2007 (Nathan has always liked to do this), a couple of days ago and...
