Last weekend, we had a chance to go to Kemah with friends from church (Chris, Melissa and their kiddos). We had planned it a couple of weeks in advance and worried it would be too hot. Then, the day before we were supposed to go, we were worried we’d get rained out. Instead, it wasn’t too hot AND we didn’t get rained out. In fact, it worked out perfect. When we arrived, it wasn’t raining. As we headed to a restaurant, it started to rain and rained hard almost the entire time we were eating lunch. When we finished, it stopped raining and only sprinkled a few times after that. All the kids had a ton of fun (the grownups did too).
