My parents bought another dog recently – a chihuahua puppy they named Dot (because that’s about how big she is). In the photo of Dot, you’ll see they have a bell around her neck, which serves as a jingly reminder to not step on her. They now have 2 dogs that together weigh about the same as a pack of skittles.
In contrast, our neighbors adopted a chocolate lab, named Hershey, from the SPCA a few months ago. Hershey leaves us lawn presents bigger than Dot.
In the past, we’ve had some pretty bad luck with unfriendly dogs around here but Hershey is a great dog and a bunch of fun to have around. He will play fetch with you until he passes out or until your arm falls off, whichever happens first.
