Since I work from home 90% of the time and Kayla is in school and Amy works, that leaves…. well myself and Nathan to practice various lighting techniques on. And, of course, it’s a little difficult to shoot “dark” photos of a handsome little 3 year old. His “cuteness” factor is just too high. So that leaves just me most of the time. I like the way this one came out. Amy called it my “mad at the world” look. I don’t seem to pull off “smiley” photos too well – I always think I look like a goof. See, normally when it’s a family photo I can get away with it because I’m surrounded by a beautiful wife and two terribly cute kids. Again, the cuteness factor comes into play and saves the photo!

Mad at the World

I just have to think about politicians to get this expression.

  4. Ken,
I’m not used to seeing the “dark side” of you! Great photo – I especially liked the political statement that drove you to this face. :)
