Still Time for Summer Fun

Late September in Houston – still low 90’s during the day which means it’s time for another trip to the Beylotte’s for some water fun. We’ve had a couple of “lake” days with them this summer and we always have a blast. Good friends, good fun, good food. Both Kayla and Nathan have grown so much in the last few months in many ways but their water ability really stands out. The cheapo pool we put up this summer has really paid off. Kayla even gave skiing a try. It was getting late and a storm was rolling in so we only had time for a few tries but she ALMOST had it on her third attempt. She got up on the water but didn’t last long. I’m proud of her for trying new things this summer (she also went on the California Screamin’ roller coaster with me in California). I would have never guessed when this summer started that we’d have two fish in the family.
